All-hands AV, every seat covered.

A town hall is where the whole organization gathers, half in the room and half on a screen. It has to carry one voice to the back row and to a thousand laptops at once, and it has to do it the first time, in front of everyone. There is no quiet rehearsal with a real audience.

Even coverage, front to back

In a large room the failure mode is uneven sound: loud near the front, gone by the back, harsh off to the sides. The fix is loudspeaker design matched to the room and measured against the AVIXA coverage-uniformity standard (A102.01), so the back row hears within a few decibels of the front. Even coverage is what makes a big room feel effortless to sit in.

Intelligibility at scale

A large, reflective room can be plenty loud and still hard to follow. Speech intelligibility is measured (the Speech Transmission Index, IEC 60268-16) across the seating, not just at the desk, and the room is treated and the system tuned until every section clears the target. The point is not volume. It is that the person in the last row understands the first word.

The hybrid half is not an afterthought

Most of your audience may be watching remotely, so they are a first-class part of the design, not a webcam taped to the back wall. Clean program audio to the stream, a camera plan that frames the speaker and the room, and a feed that holds up means the people at home see and hear at least as well as the people in the seats.

The stage and the presenter

The host should never be fighting the system in front of the company. Microphones that follow the speaker, reliable confidence and return feeds, and a control surface simple enough to hand to a nervous presenter are what keep the focus on the message instead of the technology.

Proven before the day

You do not get a second first all-hands. The room is commissioned against a written plan and dry-run before it carries a real audience, so the first time it matters is not the first time it is tested. This is how a room is proven.

All-hands spaces are central to the enterprise work Mantis delivers, designed and proven by a single engineer, start to finish. If you have one coming, describe the room and the date.
